IMU/ICCS is a full member of the Big Data Value Association (BDVA) (which aims to boost European Big Data Value research, development and innovation and to foster a positive perception of Big Data Value). BDVA joined CLAIRE, ELLIS, EurAI and euRobotics to create the  AI, Data and Robotics Association (Adra) one of the European Partnerships in digital, industry and space. Adra is the private side of the AI, Data and Robotics Partnership in Horizon Europe

IMU is a a member of the International Data Spaces Association (IDSA), a coalition of more than 130 members that aim to design a trustworthy architecture for the data economy and guarantee data sovereignty, the trust- worthy, self-determined exchange of data.

IMU is a member of the Networked European Software and Systems Initiative (NESSI), the European Technology platform dedicated to Software and Services. IMU contributes to the Semantic Technologies, BPM and Service Science Working Groups.

IMU is a full member of GAIA-X representing ICCS. GAIA-X aims to co-create the future of the digital infrastructure for Europe across dedicated data spaces serving the most critical industries. GAIA-X will establish an ecosystem in which data is made available, collated and shared in a trustworthy federated system that links many cloud services providers and users together.
