Gregory Koronakos

Senior Researcher

Gregory Koronakos is an Adjunct Lecturer at the Department of Informatics, University of Piraeus, Greece. He teaches Mathematical Programming, among others, at the undergraduate and graduate level. He obtained his Ph.D. in Operational Research from the Department of Informatics at the University of Piraeus, Greece in 2017. He also received a PhD Award from the Hellenic Operational Research Society.  His research interests lie in the fields of Mathematical programming, Multi-criteria Decision Analysis, Decision Support Systems and the broad area of performance measurement based on Data Envelopment Analysis. He is also intrigued by Data Analysis methods as well as Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. His research has been published in top-ranked journals including European Journal of Operational Research, Omega, etc. He serves as an Associate Editor for the Intelligent Decision Technologies: an International Journal and as a reviewer for many prominent journals in Operational Research.
