Dimitra Pournara holds a diploma in Computer Engineering from the Technological Educational Institute of Athens (2014). She received her Master’s degree in Advanced Information Systems from the University of Piraeus (2020) and completed her Master’s thesis on the detection and analysis of fake news articles, using deep learning and topic modeling. From 2010 she has worked in the ICT sector in IT department, as a computer science tutor and as a software engineer to date. She gained professional experience in the development and management of information systems and web applications as well as problem solving and analysis. She holds a Certificate of Proficiency in English and a Zertifikat Deutch in German. Her current research interests include deep learning, machine learning and data science.
