Today Katerina Lepenioti successfully presented her PhD thesis entitled “Prescriptive Analytics with Interactive Reinforcement Learning in Decision Making“.
The thesis proposes an innovative method for n AI-enabled decision making. The method employs interactive multi-objective reinforcement learning algorithms to model the decision making problem dynamically and to generate optimized decisions, and takes into account the decision maker’s preferences through user evaluative feedback.
During her doctoral work Katerina published 5 papers in high-impact journals and 12 papers in international conferences.
