IMU co-organised the conference "Knowledge Management for Competitive Advantage in the Digital Economy" (Athens, 23 October 2001).

The objective of the Conference was to bring together experts, thought-leaders and corporate practitioners and create a unique community of practice that will: (a) help professionals address the critical success factors of corporate Knowledge Management (b) facilitate the understanding of the role of ICT as enabling factors for successful KM initiatives (c) contribute to the awareness of the evolutions in state-of-the-art efforts in Knowledge Management at the European level. The conference was organised under the auspices of EISA (the European IT Services Association) and SEPE (the Federation of Hellenic Information Technology Enterprises)
