Georgia Gkioka
Researcher
Georgia Gkioka is a Researcher and a PhD candidate in the Institute of Information and Computer and Communication Systems at the National and Technical University of Athens (NTUA). She holds a diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA, Greece). From 2016 until 2020, she has held various positions as Software Engineer in organisations in Athens and abroad (Switzerland, Belgium), namely CERN, Nokia Siemens Networks and Secretariat of the Council of the EU. Her current research interests include Data Science, Machine Learning and Business Analytics. She is a certified Soft Skills Trainer and has been involved in several volunteering projects, CERN Voxxed Days, Job Fair Athens, Soft Skills Academy to name a few, whilst leading as a Chairwoman the student organization for Electrical Engineers, EESTEC.
